Dr. Peter Zahos is the Co-Director of Surgical Neuro-Oncology, Brain Tumor and Movement Disorder Surgery at the New Jersey Neuroscience Institute of the JFK Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey. He is Board Certified from the American Board of Neurological Surgery and his research interests include neural stem cells in brain tumors and therapeutic gene delivery in the CNS.
Dr. Zahos received his BA from Yale University and his medical degree from George Washington University. His advanced training included from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx , NY (surgical internship and neurosurgery residency) and the University of California, Los Angeles, CA (functional neurosurgery and stereotactic radiosurgery fellowship)
